Grady Brown's Sundaes for Slides at Maple View
Monday, March 7th – PTA’s Sundaes for Slides 3 to 8 p.m. at Maple View Hampton Pointe (Wal-Mart Shopping Center). The Nutter Family, owners of Maple View Farms, has offered to host this GAB Playground Fundraiser at the Hampton Pointe Location (Walmart Shopping Center) from 3-8PM. They will donate 10 percent of all ice cream sales to the GAB PTA for our playground! The fifth graders came up with some great names for a custom sundae to buy that night only! It was an honor to have Ms. Jones, our wonderful principal, select the winning name of 'Cougars n' Cream' sundae! Come and try this delicious sundae and help support our playground!

little error
Somehow, the page 7 story about Grady Brown and Paws 4 Ever included incorrect attribution for Sharon Harkovy's dog, Tibby. It's right on the page, but it got in the paper wrong. So sorry, Sharon, but we'll have a correction next week.
But, here are some pictures from the event that didn't make it into the paper:

Once we put up the Web, I'll put some more photos up in the photo gallery. Just click on the blue and yellow button.

marsville link-up
So, one of the things I did today was head over to Grady A. Brown Elementary School to take some photos of their Marsville Link-up.
Here are a couple for your enjoyment:

Here's a picture of Grady A. Brown students deflating their Marsville habitat.

A sign on Grady Brown's door lets people know they're entering a strange new world.
For more information on the project, you'll have to catch Wednesday's News of Orange.
